SB Layout beta

Storyboard layout,
how we think it should be.

We made SB Layout for our own preps. Frames that move around easily, no fuss to reorganise a page, something fluid, with share links, comments and all the obvious things we kept needing.

  • LayoutFrames drag, swap and reorder; the numbering follows. Change the layout at any time.
  • ImportA storyboard in PDF, PowerPoint or scans: frames and captions found for you, checked before they are added.
  • Drawing on the framesArrows, shapes and text over a frame, for camera moves and notes.
  • Sharing and commentsOne link. Comments on frames, resolved in place. Like frame.io, for storyboards.
  • PresentationFull screen for a PPM, frame by frame, with zoom.
  • ExportPDF, PNG or PowerPoint, as on screen.

Made by Julien & Quentin. In beta, used on every prep; access is by invitation for now.

We use SB Layout on every project we shoot and it holds up well. You will use it differently than we do, so if something breaks, tell us.
